Try it first.
Every instrument and effect has a demo with no time limit. Use it as long as you like before you buy: it is the surest way to know that it runs on your computer, in your DAW, and that you want it.
Fourteen days, for any reason.
Changed your mind? Ask within fourteen days of buying and you get your money back in full. You don't have to say why. This holds wherever you live; where the law gives you more, you have that too. Paddle may refuse a refund in a case of fraud or abuse, as its refund policy says.
How to ask.
Ask Paddle at paddle.net, and look up your order with the email address you bought with. Paddle is our reseller and the merchant of record for every order, so it pays the refund back, the way you paid, under its refund policy. Please ask for a refund rather than disputing the payment with your bank: a chargeback ends the license too, and takes longer for everyone.
Other cases.
A code bought from a shop is refunded by that shop, under its own policy: it took the payment. An upgrade to a new major version is refunded the same way as a purchase, and the license you had before stays valid. The fee for a license transfer is refunded only if the transfer doesn't happen.
What a refund does to the license.
The refunded license ends: you may no longer use it, and you remove it from your computers. My licenses no longer sends it. The demo is still yours to use.
